Vedas software presentation to Hon. Collector Shri Aayush Oak(IAS)Sir, Amreli.Hon.D.D.O.(IAS), Amreli & officers of revenue Dept.
ISRO highlighted a satellite data Application software “VEDAS”. ISRO scientist Mr.Hiren Bhatt presented various aspects & different uses of satellite gathered data, like Agriculture crop, rainfalls, wind speed, etc. Data collected are since 2001. These data are updated regularly every fortnight.

All officers are made aware with the application and its various usage. Hon. Collector take keen interest in the presentation and he also inquire about new application requirements using these data. ISRO officials assure to look into the requirement & can be met the their need.
